hmm i've come to the conclusion that a bunch of review sites who gave this 6/10 or whatever did, which is that this is fine and sometimes funny and enjoyable it just sounds way too much like das racist's m.o. is now fuck with our audience because we don't like them very much
himanshu writing for stereogum said something like "the best way to find a racist is to tell a funny race joke and the white guy laughing for too long is probably racist," which all their "white devil" talk sort of is reminiscent of. on mixtapes prior that stuff was sort of funny but now it's almost uncomfortable and sort of...mean?

I wanted to love this so bad but huge swathes of it just don't really do anything for me. I think Himanshu's verse on
the title track is his best yet, "Power" and "Michael Jackson" are probably the biggest tracks they've ever done, "Happy
Rappy" is fun as hell and "Shut Up, Man" is solid, but like... "Booty in the Air," "Punjabi Song," "Celebration," what the fuck
is this shit? Most of the other tracks are all right but worse than most of Sit Down, Man. And "Rainbow in the Dark" is
still fire but I can't count it in Relax's favor because I'd already played the shit out of it when I had it on Shut Up,
Dude. And it sounds like Victor has a lisp in this version, the hell is up with that.
