Should I start with Vheissu? Is that their best?

they are pretty consistent, so there isn't a bad starting point per se, but I would start with either Vheissu or The Artist In The Ambulance

Vheissu is their best.

Cheers. I'm probably less likely to enjoy punky/screamy style of music so... Vheissu?

Seriously, liking this more than Vheissu or Artist is unthinkable IMO.

Never liked them that much. Sure they had some really good songs, but I never really got into any of their LPs as whole. But i am impressed with this album. Maybe it will get me into their other stuff, maybe not. Anyways this is good thinking about a 4 so far.

Album rules so much and makes Beggars look even weaker for me than it already did. It's verging on being my second favorite from them after Vheissu.

@minty, sounds like a great deal you got there. I'll wait for the official release, although I think this could easily hit 4.5-5 if the rest of the tracks are as strong as the ones I've heard.

vinyl release is hot. i must say after the first 5 listens it sounds like thrice got their modern sound down in concrete. Its as fitting to their recent flavor as Artist in the ambulance was 8 years ago. Altho not as adventurous as it's contemporaries (blue sky noise, Daisy, no devolucion) this album still seethes with the feeling which made u fall in love with this band in the first place. cheers
