I don’t actually know how to evaluate albums that stand at 143 mins long, if I was going by the sheer amount of ‘grade A‘ material it would essentially be a masterpiece, but anything of such length is tricky to appreciate in full. All I know is this is bloody good stuff.

I guess you could just make a playlist or listen to it in ‘sections’ but I’m not very good at doing that.

music basically comes down to do you like what you're hearing or not

Yes... now how do I convert that into a 9 pt scale of 1-5? Find the answer and you will have unlocked the keys to the universe.

Essentially this is mostly brilliant, yet as an album experience it’s lacking simply due to the unwieldy length. I’m attempting to listen in full and man I’m getting a tad impatient now. Pretty sure it’s still good. Less good than before.

Maybe the first half is just better.

try to look at things relative to your personal average rating and what it means, how "above" average is it

It ‘feels right’ so I’ll leave it. Overthinking killed the cat (yes I’m sure that’s right).

Edit: that looks wonderful Observer, great selection.

Thanks, took a little time to pick and choose. I left some good cuts out but others there did the style or whatnot better overall imo.

Yeah definitely.

Rebuild and mechanism are pretty filler for me in comparison to other cuts.

So this one has a strong bandcamp backing recently, and the album is so fucking loaded and huge, and is very cyberpunk like this. Curious to see others opinions... Fans of this may actually love it. Drum and bass, idm, breakcore, neurofunk, and more, its a lot... Also fucking love the album art. Screams Hyperion.
