That part you have in the review about this being more of a shoegaze album with black metal elements is absolutely spot on. This is pretty good so far, but nowhere near as good as Lost was.

Hawks, you need to check out this band called Undead Creep, they released a demo in 2009 and a full-length this year and it's fucking sweet. It's Swedish death metal that sounds like it was released in the early 90's. It has that nice and gritty production, some pretty awesome leads and a touches of doom elements. It kinda reminds of Autopsy mixed with Swedish OSDM.
