huh... I honestly thought it was pretty smooth knott, not sure where the criticism is coming from for this review : / ... thought it was just 'ok' in my book. could very well be that i'm just rusty after not doing it much anymore though i guess?

I mean, it's not as good as The Midnight Organ Fight, but it was still around my top 15 or so last year

yeah I'd agree, Midnight Organ Fight is obviously incredible but I don't think Mixed Drinks is that far behind it.

Mixed Drinks isn't as good, but still great and I'm pretty confident that they still have another spectacular album in them

TMOF has better lyrics and more emotion in my opinion, which is a big reason for me liking this band to begin with

TMOF is basically an album that I find that I can get totally lost in, but I also like how easy TWOMD is to listen to by comparison. If their next album matches it I'll be more than happy.

to the whole Winter of Mixed Drinks, Midnight Organ Fight argument, it's not even close. TWOMD is pretty good but completely forgettable while TMOF is a near classic. seriously, not even close come on now.
