I prefer Pinkerton, but this album is still great. Say It Ain't So is one of my favorite songs. Sadly, I was turned off to Weezer for many years as a result of me buying the Green Album first. I figured other Weezer albums were like it and, well, I was very wrong. It's a shame what Weezer has become in recent years.

"where there is no way i could crush your pretty toenails into a thousand pieces"

I love weezer, i loved the lyrics from in the garage to only in dreams. I loved how the lyrics where so diverse and didnt focus on one thing like the green and maladroit did. talking about listnening to ludacris to loving a girl only in his dreams. this is why weezer was the best.

Ludacris wasn't even in the rap buisness when Rivers was "In the Garage". He probley was still wetting the bed.

edit for review; Brian Bell didn't participate in this album. He came to Weezer after the album was recorded.

At times I don't think this album is as great as most people seem to claim, but "My Name is Jonas", "The World Has Turned...", "Bully Holly", "Say It Ain't So", "Only in Dreams" and "Come Undone" are damned amazing.

The only thing Brian Bell didn't play on the recording is the intro fingerpicking in 'My name is Jonas'. One of the greatest albums of all time!

Everytime I listen to this it gets progressively worse. 'My Name is Jonas' and 'Holiday' are still my favorite tracks by far and awat. I still beleive that 'The Sweater Song' contains one of the my favorite riffs ever but tracks 2,6, and 8 are nothing special and I usually wind up skipping them.
