I feel this has a 4/5 side-a and a 3/5 side-b, which would make a perfect 3.5 :/

A-side is definitely stronger, agreed.

Might be sacrilege, but I don't think the title track is the best song here.

"top 3 or so"

*Top 4

And it goes a little somethin like:

1. The Width of a Circle

2. All the Madmen

3. After All

4. The Man Who Sold the World

(I love RYM track ratings, makes this so much easier)

@parksungjoon Go time, 4.0 it and prove the world wrong.

Circus music in the middle of After All is tops.

Moog makes it.

I dunno, aside from the title track the whole thing is a bit dreary

I don't know I think everything here is pretty good except for Running Gun Blues and The Supermen, and even those are decent.

The Width of a Circle, All the Madmen, After All, and The Man Who Sold The World are all spectacular. Black Country Rock is close because of it's catchiness. Saviour Machine has a great concept. She Shook Me Cold is supposed to be as stupid as it sounds.

I think it all works very well for the most part, even if some parts could definitely be trimmed.

Run, stop, here: Bowie a musical artist that a like a lot & an other LP left unattended for years.

Sample; "All The Madmen",**** "The Man Who Sold The World", such a historical masterpiece.
