Not gonna lie, this is getting me pretty excited for Mylo Xyloto.

Used as a teaser of sorts to Coldplay's upcoming fifth album, 'Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall' is a 12 minute EP where the 3 included tracks are meant to showcase the differing musical styles of the English quartet. While the lead single and title track is an upbeat, catchy & partially dancey number, the other 2 tunes are more experimental sounding. Piano & acoustic guitar ballad 'Moving to Mars' was the only song not to ultimately make 'Mylo Xyloto', and is unsurprisingly the weakest cut here. The EP as a whole is good for what it is, I suppose. Recommended Track: Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall.
