I find Fragments to be more beat-oriented, and to me that takes away from the sound I fell in love with on Finest Hour. I still enjoy the new LP, it just lacks that atmosphere that Finest Hour had in spades

I agree that Finest Hour has more atmosphere, but I find Fragments' tracks (apart from Times Strange) more entertaining to listen to individually. Like I said in the other thread, it's only because this suits my current listening habits. When Finest Hour came out I was in the habit of listening to LPs in one sitting and that album was almost flawless

Well one of my favorites off of Finest Hour is 'Back Chat', which I'd say is beat-oriented, so it makes sense for me to like Fragments just as much or more. Neither is higher than a 4 for me, though.

Dev we need another dev review and hype train to jump on. Gone cold turkey over the past
year. Lost our purposes in life.

You should review something from Hidden Orchestra. Band/Project needs a review.

I remember listening to this album while working on my high school thesis. Submotion was my Zen in the midst of the hectic and stressful environment. "Angel Eyes" was my daily dosage.

Fragments is more enjoyable, still like both of them though.

I like both too, but I can't deny this is waaaaaay better than Fragments.
