In 50 years, people may come across this internet (and New York indie rock critic) craze about Odd Future and wonder what the hell was going on.

" These tracks are great, but then I remember that “Radicals” is possibly the least intelligent track of any kind I’ve heard this year. “Kill People Burn *** *** School”??? Come on now."

LISTEN TO THE MUSIC BEFORE YOU PUT IT IN THE BOX.

I agree with the rating but the review was just so bad. Like, it wasn't necessarily written poorly,

it just jumps all over the place. Something resembling a "thesis" is evident, which is good, but

then you go and completely abandon that to just rant about how the album is "immature" and "not

original," both of which are objectively false by the way. There's lots lots lots lots lots to hate

here, but your review touches on almost none of it and instead just reads like a half-assed attempt

to try to bring Tyler down a peg. Definite neg.

The funniest thing about all of this is that you are the exact sort of music listener that Tyler

would hate so much (that's what I gathered from your "review" anyway).

Anyway, the album is still a bloated piece of shit. But that's beside the point by now.

"Many songs on Bastard appear to be loosely structured, with a sort of stream-of-consciousness style where Tyler says whatever comes to his mind. But I actually think most of this album is contrived,"

You mean "contrived" like, NOT pre-written, and not said in a stream-of-consciousness style? Yeah, lyrics tend to be like that sometimes.
