yes, TAYF was their best. But this album was great. It had hidden gems. Should get better reviews. The genre is very different, but it is great to incredible for what it is.

This has to be the most biased review I've read on this site that wasn't trolling.... or is this trolling? I hope so. I don't really see the problem with lyrics like "For Christ's sake, we're just kids" in a song dealing with abortion... nor do I see a problem with "Can you imagine Christ hitting a child" in a song about Jesus freak parents. It's like every quote here was used out of context to work in the reviewer's favor. There are plenty of legit arguments you could make about why this album is horrible. I don't see many of those arguments here though.

it's not trolling but keep on crying about a review written 3 years ago. that'll do ya good.

lol i'm not crying. it's an opinion. In that sense I can tell people to stop praising a review written three years ago, right?

Album just has absolutely no lasting value unlike the rest of the TBS catalog.
A few good songs, though.

Agreed. I liked it when I first heard it, but the spark wore off quickly lol. I thoroughly enjoy the b sides though.

I don't think i've listened to the b-sides off of this. I'll have to check 'em out.

Mourning Sickness and You Should Have Waited are two of my favorites. I do hate listening to TBS sometimes for the simple fact that they make me want a new Brand New album and lord knows when that's going to happen.

only just checked out the demos for this and theyre so good. how the fuck do you have songs like you were right, mackey sasser and morning sickness in your back pocket and then put money and faith on the fuckin tracklist instead smh. they coulda actually had a good album here

Album Rating: 2.0
lol fuck it heres what i got as far as what a much better version of this album coulda looked like
1. el paso (used to not be into this one but it kicks this off perfectly)
2. mackey sasser
3. best places to be a mom
4. sad savior
5. you should have waited
6. morning sickness
7. this is all now
8. it doesnt feel a thing like falling
9. you were right
10. you got me
11. call me in the morning
i didnt think the other two demos fit as well even tho i do like those songs. also changed the artwork to the faith single cover bc the og is absolutely hideous

This album came out the day I landed overseas with my mates for my first ever holiday without family. It will always hold a special place in my heart. El Paso and Call me In the Morning... good shit.
