Didn't Dave's review of Constellations mention something about ABR "slowly creeping out of the incestuous metalcore genre"?

Introductions are difficult, why not talk about the generic wave of metalcore bands.

I like 40 Nights best off this. First half of the album pretty much kills any chance of this competing against Constellations. Album misses songs of the quality of White Washed and Meddler.

So far I like this better than Constellations. The vocals seem a lot more sincere.

I thought Messengers was pretty great to be honest and I do think the Blinding Light is awesome. Composure is obviously the best

off that though.

The first three tracks on Messengers are amazing.

The part in the title track on here where Jake is all like "My heart thirsts for vengeance, but my Father has tought me forgiveness" and the breakdown that follows is one of the best moments of this album.

Yeah for sure, his lows got sooooooo good with this album, and they are at their best in the title track.

very very well written review

I disagree with the rating but a lot of the point you make are ture. Regardless, this is a great album to me. They are the only metalcore band keeping things interesting for me.

Even if this was just Constellations 2.0 I would be happy. That's the exact formula of metalcore I enjoy listening to.
