I can get where you're coming from with that, but in a way it kinda works with this album. I admit that it would have been great had a few more ideas been expanded on, and one of the things holding this back from being a 5 is when you start to realize the album it could've been. Well that and the fact that I find it hard to rate something so fresh as classic. But it reminds me a lot of James Blake's album; it comes in, does its thing and leaves before anything could potentially get stale

yeah i like how it just keeps steaming on, but at the same time id rather have something a bit meatier. i mean you could cut some of these tracks pretty easily, it feels like a mixtape almost to showcase his ideas.

I like the quickness of it, the tracks have quite a bit going on, so it's nice to be able to digest them quickly and pick out different layers and beats each time through.
