FII getting a 0? I'll admit; it's their worst effort to date, but that's a tad too harsh.
This album is incredible, though. Honour Thy Father remains one of my favorite songs to date.

Nice Review
I think this album is pretty good. I like Honor Thy Father and In the Name of God the most, but the others are good aswell.
Ironic that they have 7 songs on their 7th album and 8 songs on their 8th album. Pretty cool though.

This album has propably the worst solos of DT. The one on In The Name of God, yeah it's pretty amazing and fast, but sounds worse than a mosquito in your ear. Some of the songs are just too long. I like TDS, but what's the point of two minutes of techinical exercising at the end of the track?
Stream of Conciousness is the best song in the album (As I Am is good too), it has some great riffing and melody sections. But the solos won't stand out there either.

Dream Theater bores me quite a bit. I reall like this album though(probably cause it's more heavy then the rest of em). Good review, too.

My first venture into the Dream Theater was Octavarium, and I didn't think that album was anything special. Luckily I picked this one up. A great technical metal album that isn't too heavy. The only songs that I didn't really like were Vacant and Stream of Consciousness, but Endless Sacrifice and This Dying Soul were great.

Good solid review, Dream Theater is one of my fav bands. John is amazing, and so is the guy who plays keyboard (dunno his name lol), and come to think of it, Mike is amazing as well as the bassist!

Incredible. As I Am, This Dying Soul...
However, Stream of Consciousness is a masterpiece.

The first DT album i got and still possibly maybe my favourite, on level with SFAM. All the songs are excellent (although i always skip Vacant). AiA=perfect opener and ItNoG = perfect closer.

I've really taken a shine to this album. In the Name of God is quickly becoming one of my favourite songs in a long while. That bloody riff!!!
Maybe I should finally add these guys to my favourites list...

In The Name of God is actually not about 9/11...it is mostly about David Koresh and Branch Davidians, and some other cults

This should be a 4, but the lyrics are really frickin' lame...especially "As I Am"...sounds like a 5th graders rant on the playground...
