You gave Sorceress a 2 which is way too generous, so you should delete all of them. Just go ahead and delete the whole account.

Haha what were you self-conscious about? The only rating I found suspect was the AiC 3.5.

The guitars in this and their other albums are brilliant. Great riffs and great solos aplenty.

IMHO this is by far their best effort. I dare everyone to point me a filler, even an average song. Their most "Dane" album, filled with bitter lyrics and crunchy riffs. Awesome as a concept. I understand why someone may find it "tortured" or depressive but those was the feelings of Warrel back in the days. At least he transformed them (with the little help of my friends, call me Loomis) in a hell of an album.

Best album, agreed.

Out of their top 3 albums I've listened to this one the least, mostly because it's just so goddamn long, dark and depressive with no light at the end of the tunnel.

Gonna jam tonight. Been meaning to get more into this band for like a decade now.

I heard The Psalm of Lydia on a compilation album in like 2005 and jammed This Godless Endeavor. That album slays hard but I never jammed anything else since then for whatever reason.

Yeah, I love this type of concept album. It’s dark and depressing but it’s too damn good.
