This review pretty much said everything I would have. This was fun to read, every one of their albums have drawn me in for at

least the 3 month radius of its release and, you know, SOAD is just one of those bands.



I forgot who it was who said Dolmayan wasn't a talented drummer but whoever that was is being a bit ignorant. I'm a drummer

and play bass too and yeah I can play both of their parts and all but that doesn't mean he's not talented. Maybe you forgot the

fact that he wrote his own drum parts and is also able to keep his live performances interesting and alive. Not only is his parts

fun to listen to, but they're fun to play, so come on.





The feeling of 'Dreaming', 'Soldier Side' and 'Hypnotize' is incredible This Message Edited On 12.14.08

Shavo Odajian couldn't do the basslines? What the balls? Does he suck that bad?


Shavo was actually a pretty good bassist on early system, but I guess Daron, being the control freak he is, decided that we no longer need to hear him.

Pretty sure Daron played guitar on both records, not bass.
