appreciating technical skill is one thing but just because you're technical doesn't mean you write good music, riffs > technicality/solos

Necrophagist, Decapitated, and Obscura's first album is about as far as I go for tech-death. It all sounds too samey for me to enjoy a lot of it. I'd much rather listen to OSDM.
