I think it can be construed as naive if you misinterpret it. The song isn't an argument against God's existence, it's a declaration of why life rules based upon that assumption already having been made.

Holy shit... This is amazing.

the man's released four albums and is incredibly hyped. stating oh this has acoustic guitar and is
jangly with blah blah blah would just be horribly redundant. you may want to read something that says
guitar A + vocal melody = Song A and this is why... but I'd prefer to read/write something that puts
it in context and isn't just a restating of the most basic and half assed of listening.

English Curse does it's best to ruin a very good album.
