This is pretty good. Relaxing. Pretty. Though I still think A River Aint Too Much To Love might be his best stuff. I just like the vibe of that album. Pity theres not a review of it here.

Those two are the big boys but I rate “Babys Breath”, “Universal Applicant”, and “One Fine Morning” just behind; nothing here is lower than a 4/5.
Where do I go with Callahan from here? I haven’t tried any of the Smog albums yet but I’m also tempted to try Dream River to finish out his recent run.

I rate Dream River way ahead of this one so I think you'll definitely like DR a lot even if it doesn't trump this one for you
Smog you've got so many...Knock Knock, Dongs of Sevotion or Red Apple Falls I'd start with - I'd definitely avoid the first 4 or 5 Smoggies to begin with, other than that you can't go too wrong picking anything after those
