Corsicana and Putting the Dog to Sleep couldn't close out the album better. No Widows and Tiptoe are the 2 I'm into most now. I picture Tiptoe being the opening to a black and white movie with a guy walking down the city street. I don't know why

A lot of people probably haven't heard yet but:

Putting the Dog to Sleep is the greatest song The Antlers have ever done.

Followed closely by No Widows.

This album is great, "Every Night My Teeth Are Falling Out" is quickly becoming one of my favorite songs.

It's pretty cool. I'm sorry I ever doubted it.

When Peter sings/screams/cries "Prove to me I'm not gonna die alone," just too awesome. Hard to believe but I think that's a more powerful line than any one line on Hospice

^

listen to wake again, and then two, and then try Atrophy and then apologize. :P

In other news, been digging the recordings of The Antlers recent concerts on nyctaper.com, and I couldn't help but notice how amazing "Rolled Together" is live, seriously it kicks my ass all over the place.

Putting the Dogs to Sleep is the greatest album closer of 2011 and possibly of any album I have ever heard.

So is this something I should hear, even if I didn't love Hospice?

Downloaded this on a whim yesterday. Awesome album, kinda reminds me of that Beach House album that came out last year. I think this might be better than that, though, that album starts to taper off in the 2nd half and this one is pretty consistent throughout.

This is the first experience i've had with this band btw... i guess i should check out Hospice soon, right?

As for Burst Apart thoughts, I just bought some nice headphones and "Corsicana" has been making my ears go crazy
