I listen chronologically with all bands, which is also why I roll my eyes whenever I see someone ask, "what album should I start with for band X?"
I like the idea of growing up with the band and seeing how they changed over the years. Plus, if you listen to their best album first, the rest of the discog will never be heard the same.

Not enough time for that. If I listen to the debut & hate it then I’ll likely neglect the rest of their discog, whereas I’d rather go for their supposed best work first. I do usually listen to multiple albums by the same artist but not always.

Lol depending on how the first few albums go, I feel like I GOTTA listen to a band's entire discog especially if it's like 6 or 7 albums max. When it comes to more albums than that, I will try to find what the "golden period" in their discog is and just listen to that.
And of course, depending on the length of their discog, it can take weeks to listen to it all.
