This was probably the most challenging Devy album to get into. Nothing wrong with that though. Maybe at 3.5 atm but who am I kidding.. This is basically a 4.
The first minute of Life Is All Dynamics is like the number one hook that all the pop 'artists' out there never wrote. Ever.

Yah that song rules. But my favorites here are probs Dynamics and Noisy Pink Bubbles.
As I said, the intro is such a tease cos you just want a little more of the heavenliness that is Devin doing pop. Thankfully the sheer epicness that follows crushes you into submission. And yeah, Noisy Pink Bubbles just plain rules. Never knew falsetto could sound that badass.

This album is great. Some of Devin Townsend's most memorable song moments are on this record, I believe.

I think i need to 5 this. It's my favorite Devy release. It highlights every awesome aspect of his music. The heavy, the
goofy, the creative, the introspective. And its a rockin' good time. Looks like it needs a new review, too.

Love how NO ONE mentioned "Soul Driven" when it is easily one of the best, if not the best, songs of his early career. It pretty much sums up everything he is about: the meditation, the bombast, the curve ball, the giant moth.
