And is it any good?

There are 2 or 3 great tracks but the rest are passable instrumentals and interludes.

The guy really has potential imo (as evidenced by this release here). He just needs to sit the fuck down and compose some cohesive songs, instead of spurting out compilations that are mostly made up of 2-minute instrumentals that really don't go anywhere and don't do nor express anything. I mean, Antisleep vol. 1 was fun, but releases in that vein became trite quickly.

I agree. I'm not sure why he's dicking around with what he's doing now as opposed to making another one of these.

Maybe he's trying to lineup some soundtrack work?

Gah, that's the worst move possible!!!!

Depends, worked for Front Line. He/Klayton could easily provide music for a iOS game or something similar; tower defense game with a focus on mechs comes to mind.
Other than that I really can't offer a guess as to why they'd both be doing such short tracks.

Meh, it's okay. I don't think any of us are holding our breaths for this guy anyway.
Btw, you into chiptune by any chance? And by that I mean chiptune that has structure and isn't annoying. If so, check out Anamanaguchi - Endless Fantasy. Same group who did the Scott Pilgrim soundtrack.

I'll give them a go, normally avoid the genre entirely however (though for convention parties it works really well).

Believe me, I think 99.9% of the genre is nonsense. Dunno why I bothered with this release but I am glad I did.

Bret was right, this will be my new soundtrack for my long car rides into oblivion. (Paticularly Ultranumb, Anti You, & Takedown)

Easily his best work. Corner, Throw Away, and Metamorphosis make the album work for me, the rest of the songs are 'okay'.
