I like your text flow really much. The review is a great, fleet-footed read with nice expressions. Would like to Pos but can't.

Anyway, I enjoyed the record. Easy listen, but has it's moments that know how to shine.

ps: If I remember correctly, I kind of hated them in the past, so this marks a sort of surprise for me.

Thanks iamSeraph. I like the description of being a "fleet-footed read".

Sounds like their maturing is semi winning over a few people.

Saw this band last night; the lead singer punched some kid in the crowd for throwing a flip flop at him, pretty silly.

Hahaha. Assault by flip-flop. Book 'em Danno.

Were The Swellers the support? If so, how were they?

Which lead singer?

I'm guessing Sean since he's the one who usually spends half the set in the crowd.

Going to listen soon, but the lead single off this album is actually terrible, i can't even listen to it without feeling angry. The riff reminds me of the Guinness advert.
Having said that i liked their previous material and loved them live.

So they rip off other artists and assault fans?
hmmm....

@IfYouRun
yeah, I don't really like Higher and Higher either.

IfYouRun, you know that when even I suggest that a lead single is not one of 4 highlights on an album, then the band/label chose incorrectly.

"He meant literally rip off."

Yeah, I've been listening to the two some more; they're pretty much exactly the same.
The Blackout didn't even try to change the 'Going Out' bridge bit at all. In my mind there's no doubt they ripped it off and this should really be publicised.

Can legal action be taken if the band isn't signed though?

If they (the rip off ers) sell the product , then yes , legal action can be taken

But tkxxx7, I think I may be all post-hardcore'd out.

We already went through all this in the original thread. We all thought they would take legal action, but did not.

Read the review. I doubt you'll like it all that much. You'll probably 3 it.
