thanx for the comments on the review Metalman, but the slagging off dethtrasher was unnecessary, he seems to be a decent chap, and his reviews are all great (the ones ive seen at least).
considering ur post count is currently 3, im guessing you haven't been around here long, so judging someone on the posts they've made in ONE review is a bit closed minded. just a bit of friendly advice to prevent any "incidents" in the future; i know most sputnik users dont take kindly to those kind of comments, especially as unreasoned as that.

This review is pretty good......but why would you want Crush 'Em to be on the greatest hits??......does anyone else like that song??.....tornado of souls, set the world afire and reckoning day are all wicked songs and i think they should've been on the album.......good review!

i dont dislike crush 'em, and at the same time, its not my favourite, but i just thought it would give a wider cross-section of megadeths material to a newcomer, which is who this comp is aimed at really, by nature of it being a greatest hits set.

I gave it a 4 because it came with a free dvd and megadeth sticker, and it did have a good variaty of songs but I do perfer the studio albums over this album.

One thing that I noticed all the reviews for this album is missing is how it was made.
They used the forums on their official website to have the fans vote for their favourite tracks off of every album (almost every maybe, I was too new to Megadeth to know) then took a bunch of the top voted songs and bam, greatest hits album.

yeah i did hear that somewhere, but if thats true, then im mystified as to why tornado of souls isnt on there, as its a fan favourite when played live, from what i hear.
also, hardcore fans (of any band) tend to champion lesser known songs in an effort to appear more knowledgeable about the band (basically a pretty elitist practice, but i've noticed it everywhere), so i'd expect there to be a lot more non-singles and obscure stuff on there...

I can verify it's true that they had polls on the forums cause I saw it first hand... but I couldn't tell you why some of the better Megadeth didn't get on there
