Oh god. I tend to agree with Rasputin here. I didn't listened to it since the last time I rated it so my 2 can be a little bit underscored. But I just didn't found what is so amazing about Burial my numberous first time listening to it and knowing he is one of the best dubstep artist, I don't want to look for other material of that.
Edit: Review is great BTW. I skimmed through his tracks and sure I love it better than 2 but it's still far from 4 more in the 3 -3,5 territory. Will never be better than that, I mostly find annoying the little "snare" hits

So because you heard one album and decided that you didn't like it you've decided to write off a whole genre without actually exploring it a little to see if there's variation in it? I mean, you'd expect a sound that is the fusion of two distinctly different genres to be a little varied with its output
You're just being exceptionally short-sighted

Hey Munsu! This is not your typical dubstep sound though. I'd give this another chance to click if I was you, if you still don't like it, fair enough.
Don't let that deter you from all dubstep though, coz like I said, this is quite different for the genre

Wow what a way of interpreting my statements. I know what dubstep is, but it will just never do something to me even if it's a fusion of two distinctly different genres. From what I've heard of the principal actor of this subgenre, even if the variety is slightly big, I just find the genre boring in itself. The dub , 2 step, grime and even drum n bass influence just doesn,t click with me.
And didn't you read that my 2 didn't stand anymore. I just find the album to be overrated.

I dig the review. The only problem I have with it (and believe me, this is no fault of yours) is that I've read it all before (hell, I even wrote a review on this myself) so the kind of imagery you conjure up in your writing is nothing new to me. But the best thing you can do when starting out as a writer is working on something you love, that you know inside and out
My only real advice is your layout, but this is just a personal preference. You start off with these big paragraphs with lots of great ideas in them, but you get smaller and smaller as you go on. Maybe look at combining a few of them together, simply because it makes the writing flow a lot better. But this is still excellent and I look forward to reading more from you
Also bear in mind I have just returned from hitting the clubs so I'm not exactly working at my best here so potentially ignore everything I just said =]

"my numberous first time listening to it"
You didn't take all the sentence. I just doesn't know to explain it in different words since I'm a French guy. I did listen this album a lot of time, but never more than 1 listen at time. I slightly change my my mind each time. Is it better for you now?
Seriously, stop making fun of me . LEAVE ME ALONE.

Yea I did kinda notice that was happening. I could've just kept writing to be honest coz every track conjures such a vivid story in my head, but I didn't want the review to ramble on. Guess I should structure it a bit better next time.
Thanks for the advice : )

Okay, but all that says is that you've listened to THIS album numerous times. Don't get me wrong because I'm not trying to "make fun" of you and maybe something just got lost in the translation but it just seemed like you were implying that you have only heard this album and nothing else in the genre

And just remember that it's just a personal preference thing, it's not a bad thing by any means

I was kinda joking. I don't take anything personal on internet.
People just need to understand that since my english is far from being perfect, they should be more indulgent.

I guess that's the beauty of it. It's so enigmatic that it could be taken an infinite amount of ways really. This is just what I see in my mind when I listen.
Thanks for the pos man, appreciate it

I don't know too much about it either to be honest, not compared with someone like say, Deviant. But you should give this a try if you haven't already
