I quite enjoyed this record. Oddly my favourite song Htrae appears to lift from the aspects of european female fronted metal siren bombastic silliness I usually reject out of annoyance.

techno? metalcore? hip hop? This sounds awful. Nice review but I'll avoid this. Ha ha. This one doesn't have the hip hop, it was their last one. The metalcore/rock/techno hybrid is actually pretty uniform and well integrated. If you were to have a problem with this it would probably be with the vocals. Check the stream and try "Renegade" if you have time.

Yeah, they verge into Within Temptation territory occasionally, but manage to avoid everything that band does wrong.

I should have seen this coming, I really should have known they'd pussy out. Now I guess i'll start finding a newer better band of this ilk.

They're better when they let Sabine do everything anyway.
At least here, I don't remember Wolves too well

This review makes the album sound like a complete travesty to any metal fan.
Fuck this band.

This sounds like I would love it. Definitely going to get it today. Whats their other work like in comparison? I don't have anything from this band yet so if their good I will get other albums too.

Ah Deviant. My electro (electronica?) authority. There is definitely a techno influence on this and their last two albums.
If you like this you'll like their last two albums if you don't mind a heavier, more aggressive approach.

Wolves had balls.....Manifest to a degree and now this..Deadlock have been neutered by commercialization.

It's definitely a huge move towards the mainstream, but the inclusion of the growls kind of negates them being called sellouts or whatever.

I have no problems with heavier. This album is good though, virus jones is so catchy.

I like a lot of the later songs on the album more. As for their previous two, they're different than this and each other but are both good.

The only track I dislike is the last one ... Ok ill check those out.

I think I would like this more if they just cut the growls out completely.
Then it would be able to fill a musical niche for me.
As is I can't really think of time where I would be in the mood for this.

I youtubed a few tracks off of this and all I picked up was some standard industrial electronics, just little fills here and there. Didn't hear any of this in there:
