ok review, but I really don't feel that you justified the 2. your only gripe with the album seems to be that they're using the same concept that they did on their previous LP and EP

I don't write to justify the rating. My gripes are to do with the concept, which is awful and poorly delivered, the acoustic stuff which is dull and empty and the sudden cut to silence. I don't add up an albums flaws and delete them from a 5 - if a brilliantly played album had nazi lyrics I'd give it a 1, with just one flaw. This isn't offensive, but it is retarded.

I think the end of White Oak Doors is brilliant. Well, probably not brilliant, but it was really cool. I think the whole concept was done very well, but I could see people thinking it was cheesy, I guess...

Lol, but you know why that ended like that, right?

Not heard anything. I assumed it was the end of Tony.

didn't think it was that bad but alright. I just thought you'd have way more issues with the album giving it a 2. it's fine, I don't care, I was just saying.

good review though

I don't care what you rated it I had just assumed you were gonna tear this record a new asshole instead of just saying the concept and acoustic stuff was bad

I feel like the musical quality of this record (especially the drumming) alone saves this from being categorized as "poor". And I think you probably agree with me deep down, but you just wanna be that guy.

haha thanks man, that actually means a lot to me. I was all "I thought Phlebas was one of the non-assholes here"

it's hard to keep track of these things. Defeater (the user) keeps switching sides.
