So disappointed in you Davis...
You knew it was inevitable.

I'll check this out, I liked Anywhere But Here alright, never heard their stuff with Lancaster.

Oh so I hear. Is the ep the best place to start or go ahead and just listen to A Lesson in Romantics?

Thanks Ebay. It seems that I am in the minority on 'Terrible Things'. Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's the best song ever written (hell, it's not even good enough to make my year-end list or anything like that), but I do believe its strong.
LG, you've been disappointed in me for a while.
Crymson, if you liked 'ABH', you should delve into their discography. I would start with the EP & then go into 'ALIR'.

Thanks Davey, will do

It may take a while to get used to Jason lancaster's voice in the mix if you're used to 'Anywhere But Here', but once it clicks, it really clicks.

I know, its sad.
I won't give this band the time of day unless Lancaster come's back, he made the band.

i really like the redone version of kids in love.
terrible things is good too. jamie all over is weird without jason, though.

He's running this website under an alias, so be careful what you rate the new Go Radio LP.

I changed my mind.
'Terrible Things' rules.

I can't tell if you're serious or not Adam... Your initial disgust for it was too strong to have me be certain that you are.
|
| |
No I'm being serious.
Found out what he says in the loud part.
Rules.

Great to hear. I hate to say I told you so, but... Oh look, a poodle with a fluffy tail.
You really are a lyrics guy, aren't you Adam? I'm starting to think you really weight your judgments heavily towards lyrics. That's not necessarily a bad thing either.

Yeah, where certain styles of music are concerned I love lyricism and find it very important, but I mostly tend to look for different things in different genres. I listen to a lot of post-rock, which obviously doesn't for the most part have any lyrics at all, but if I listen to pop-punk I like to know that a song is actually about something and provides a semi-original perspective on something. I like my one-liners too. But the lyrics come as part of the overall package, in tandem with the music. With 'Terrible Things' the reason that it went from bad to good overnight was simple: that last stanza once you've read it totally swaps the angle from which 'love' is approached in the song.
