I'd also rank him above Bruce but I still need to listen to some more Baker stuff in order to have a more complete opinion about him. The thing is that he did a lot of jazz albums which aren't exactly my forte.

Gary was an all around guitarist, that's what I mainly love about him. He could do almost anything with the instrument.

Yeah I was referring to Ginger Baker. Now that you said Colosseum II there's a band called Colosseum that has released an album called Valentyne Suite. I think you guys will like it.



Regarding Moore, in addition to what r'n'm said, he also used metallic tone which was cool. The sound of his guitar wasn't a vintage blues rock sound.

The original Colosseum were great, especially Valentyne Suite which is better than anything Colosseum II have done.

Moore's tone is legendary.
