Thanks Tyrael =)

the shameless stench of commercialism that runs in the varicose ulcers of this release.
Hate-filled Irving reviews ftw.

You know how I commented that your positive reviews seem more inspired than your negative ones?
I take that all the way back.

@ Phlebas: Hate-filled Irving reviews ftw.
I basically sat down for two hours, asked myself, "What would Phlebas say?", and then came up with this.
@ Nag: You're too kind my friend. I won't deny that that comment was at the back of my mind when I wrote this review, but I actually felt at the end of my writing that this piece might have actually proved your point about my negative reviews being weaker than my positive ones. LOL. God knows which one of us is right.
Also, listening to Blof now! ;)

You have to get his name right first.

I know, I was thinking I should continue. I'll probably put the next one up this week but I'm rather busy.

Haha, but this is a different kind of writing, and it just turned out really well, usual wit and all.
Also, listening to Blof now! ;)
Nice! How's it so far?

I haven't spun it enough to arrive at a concrete opinion yet (I've barely completed Omarm), but I think I'm on to something golden here. The opening song of Omarm (De Mooiste Verliezers) seriously struck a chord with me...I just wish I knew what it was saying though.
I assume it's sweet and meaningful? LOL.

While reading this I felt the a strong urge to have this sent to him in whatever manner best appropriate, surely by now he realises the opinions garnered from re-releasing the same album are not positive?

Unfortunately, his target demographic will tend to disagree. And they outnumber us 5 billion to one.

I'm really happy to hear that, De Mooiste Verliezers (literally translated 'The Most Beautiful Losers', which makes not much sense in English) is indeed very meaningful, yet it's also slightly poetic; Omarm as an album is particularly that way, so I can't really accurately describe it for you.

Oh man. Yeah I can see why it'd be really hard for you to try and transcribe what it means to a complete foreigner. But hey, music is a universal language right? I can at least catch the mood AND enjoy the tunes even without knowing what it means - this alone will probably constitute 90% of a song's value =)
Also, this cultural exchange thing is really cool. One of these days Nag, I'll introduce you to a Malaysian band =)

Sad but very true.

The Blof vocalist also reminds me a little of David Draiman (of Disturbed fame). The two of them look similar, and there are some (albeit minor) similarities in singing style.

Good job.

J'ai travaillé beaucoup sur mon francais, et je suis très heureux qu'il y a un peu de amélioration! Mais, il y a encore beaucoup à faire!

There's always room for improving. The key word is practicing, so let's practice!!
