Their best '70s release is easily Lovedrive.

Roth rules JT but Lovedrive is their best '70s. In my opinion of course.

The Roth era is definitely my favourite era of the band, they were just so much more creative when he was in the band. That said however I still love their post-Roth material (particularly Lovedrive and Blackout), they went on to write some of the best hard rock songs of the late 70's and early 80's.

"they were just so much more creative"

Humm I disagree bro. I love their '70s work, but their albums are quite inconsistent.

Band reached their pick in the '80s.

Nah, post 70s they have only two solid releases compared to the 70s.

I loved the more experimental influence Roth brought to the band.

JT, but his more experimental influence is inconsistent.

But hey I'm a Roth fan. I love their '70s.

Virgin Killer and this are pretty inconsistent, I'll agree with you there.

I love every track on Taken By Force and In Trance though.

I prefer this over everything else I've heard by them tbh. But it's all a matter of taste.

These guys should be Hall of Famers.

"These guys should be Hall of Famers."

Yes they should be, along with many other bands and artists like Judas Priest, King Crimson, Motorhead, Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, The Moody Blues, Yes, SRV, MC5, Dire Straits, Boston, Thin Lizzy, Jethro Tull, but they are overlooked because (as the majority of the bands I wrote) they're not from America or even because they were not successful there.

Well, the Scorps did have massive commercial success in the 80's, and had it's share of singles in the US. But, much like Judas Priest, their most influential work was done in the 70's.

Blue Oyster Cult has also been overlooked for Hall induction.

Who cares about R'n'R Hall of Fame? Of course they're overlooked and not recognized but maybe it's better this way. Being accepted by those people is not important anyway.

The RnR HoF is a bit of a joke. They try to honour a lot of artists, but a shit ton of them weren't even part of any kind of rock scene, which makes its name really misleading.
