For your first review there are actually some pretty intelligent ideas and assertions here but you really need to read more. Your grammar and style are completely disjointed and your expression is in no way convincing.
Why would you read this review if you are not even interested in listening/purchasing/downloading the album?
Because people here are interested in seeing what other people have to say about music. That's why sputnik exists. If your review had been a formal, convincing, passionate write-up I would've been convinced to hear this. I haven't and I still won't be. And you really didn't give low ratings for songs - to call a track 'awful' and then give it more than 5/10 is just phenomenally silly.
Lastly, song-by-song reviews are amateurish and frowned upon here and elsewhere. try and move away from them.

people who think reviews should be fucking consumer guides are the worst.
I HATE COUNTRY. But this rock ballad with a country twist is pretty good. I would have gave it a higher rating if it wasnt for the awfull girl singer they decided to put in it. lots of acoustics and catchy melodies.
now THAT'S a conclusion.

Not should be, but that's what they are.

.... I never knew an opinion could be incorrect.
Are you being facetious? By that logic you are suggesting that there is inherent value in everything. Is there value in Nickelback's music? Exactly. Music can be be bad and woefully uninspired. Look at Nickelback. And this creative atrocity.
If you want to say a band is not talented, that is understandable.
Talent is not an opinion.
Talent by its very definition is subjective. What constitutes talent? Musicality, improvisation, sheer speed? Knowledge and application of theory? It could be debated either way. Thus, musical talent can only really be compared in relation to other musical talent. If anything talent is even more contentious than whether a band is "good" or not, and is hardly as "quantifiable" as your post seems to suggest. You can't really debate the value of the Beatles as a band, but their individual talent is hardly set in stone.
I could just aswell say other's opinions are incorrect and mine is correct.
You can't say your opinion is correct because it's wrong lol

Knott, I appreciate your criticism and I understand what you are trying to say. Just because you would like to see others opinions doesnt mean people have to be rude about it. Reading this, i can see why i may come off as a fanboy, but truth be told, Avenged Sevenfold is not my favourite band. Im not even sure if they would make my top 5. Also, I beg to differ when people say Avenged Sevenfold is a shitty band. You cant deny talent and i can name around 40 more artists in the music buisness that do not have as much talent as they do.

Talent is a starting point, it needs to be turned into something.
And I don't honestly have an opinion on this band, I'm trying to give you an idea about what to improve to make this review far more effective.

That being said, Synyster Gates is probably my favourite guitarist and one who has influenced my playing the most. He may not be the fastest shredder or most technically skilled guitarist around, but his playing style is very unique. There is not many guitarists (except the greats, Hammet, Dimebag, etc) where you can tell that it is them playing it before the song even starts. I find that it is relatively easy to do this with Synyster because his style is so catchy and unique. One thing I forgot to add to my review is that the Lost solo is one of the most unique, stylish, catchy solo I have heard in a while.

ForgetTheFallen: It's fine to have an opinion that differs from the norm. There are even a lot of reviews here that do a good job of arguing an unpopular point of view. Maybe go check out some of the staff and contributor reviews on here to get an idea of how to write a convincing review, and get an idea of what kind of writing is expected.
Like Knott said, you did make a couple intelligent points in your review. Start looking at how musical analysis is done around here and build on the ideas you have.
I'm not an authority or anything, I've only written like 3 reviews that nobody read. That's just my two cents.

Waking the fallen I liked but their singer always annoyed me. Portnoy is a great drummer though. Wish Lars would quit so Portnoy could join Metallica
