it was like a 3 for the longest time but man when it clicks...prob my 2nd fav the nostalgia for their s/t is unmatched but glad u dig this more now blush

I think a case could be made for the energy of the first, too. I think of all their albums, though, this balances out the distinction between Ben and Adam's song-writing the best -- on the s/t things are (to its credit) less distinguishable, whereas on Charmer it couldn't be more obvious. This, on first impression, seems to be the perfect middleground.

I love Charmer, too, but I think Adam outshines Ben and Briana on it, though Ben still has some incredible songs.

Yeah, Distress Signal is amazing. I love Teen Rocket as well -- it and Hum are a good indication of what they went on to do on spin, I think. Cool, Charmer, Slow Come On, and What Would You Do are definitely my favourites, though.
