It's an incredible soundtrack and pretty awesome paper-writing music but that's pretty much all it is.

Should I even listen to this or should I just wait until the movie comes out?
|
| |
I'd wait personally
|
| |
Gonna do that. Maybe only hearing it after will make it remind me of the movie and I'll like it more.

After reading the first page of comments, why are sputnikers so fucking dumb? We're elitists! I don't have any understanding...

Yeah, I was a bit let down with this. It could've been so sweet, but I'm betting Disney had Daft Punk on a tight leash. It just sounds too much like a typical movie soundtrack and not enough like what Daft Punk doing a movie soundtrack should sound like.

is the general consensus this sounds like a movie soundtrack therefore its not good?
|
| |
It's not that it's not good, it's that it's not incredible, like I was anticipating.
|
| |
not bad, not great

no Downer, it sounds like every other soundtrack, which justifies a three, because it's good as a soundtrack and average as anything other than that.

well... it's no romeo and juliet but it's music i guess...

the movie looks tiiiiight. Great review, I won't bother with this unless I really love the movie.

Original Tron is SO good.

Good review, although I'm set on not listening to this as an album since I've heard it's more of a score than a soundtrack. Tron will probably be really good or at the very least visually appealing because of Ms. Wilde but mostly b/c of the Lightcycles.

Excellent review. I want to watch this film now.
|

I don't know, the trailers make the movie look really lame and generic.
