Great Bay always gets me so stuck, no matter how many times i have completed it. such a maze.

the mask collecting was always one of my favourite parts of this game, love just goin around and mucking about in everyones business. makes the world feel really real and alive

DKC2 started everything for me musically lol

don't even want to get into how great the songs are cause i'll be here all night

and yeah, that's part of why i enjoy the game so much you can really tell when someone's invested a

lot of time into thoroughly understanding the game's movement/map design inside and out

yeah the water current and the turbines are a bit ridiculous. but the boss is super easy with that Zora Link magic shield thing.

the game is depressing as hell too - everyone is doomed but nearly everyone is oblivious. was a really clever concept for 2000

i think he did Starfox 64 as well. probably most of the first-party N64 games. explains all the amazing music on that system

the music that plays directly before the moon crashes (when youve got like 5 minutes left) is magical

yea. it's so chilling, listening to it while wandering the empty, dark clock town all by yourself is one of my more memorable video game experiences

yeah man it's amazing. i remember being a bit bummed by the 3 day system at first (and also the layout of Termina compared to Hyrule) but honestly looking back I wouldn't change a thing.
