Good. Glad everyone agrees; this definitely was one of those instances where polishing and bolstering an old record pays off. Where sometimes remasters instead would pulls away pieces of what made the original material so good.

Go out and buy it. It's 8 or 9 bucks at most places, really cheap.

great review

holy shit this is great. always loved the album, but found the idea of a remaster a little irrelevent. this really blew me away though, can't believe how good it sounds.

Broken doesnt need to be reissued. This one did however

Broken doesnt need to be reissued AS BADLY.

But I would still like to hear a cleanup of it. It was still recorded on 18 years ago. I agree there wouldn't as much of an improvement but I think there would still be an improvement.

I see nothing wrong with Broken as it is. The sound is fine, this was the only one that really badly needed a remaster, I pretty much had to always play the original at full blast.

I didn't think there was anything wrong with this one until I heard this re-master. I just thought it

sounded dated before, nothing more.

I guess what I'm not stating very well is that I would like broken to be re-mastered and hear as much

of a difference. I would like for broken to be made as relevant in my music rotation again as this is

now.

I suppose I'm just being sentimental for the most part.

Fixed is rather interesting if you're into the ambient/IDM sort of industrial, but it doesn't need a remaster since they are technically already retreated.

Broken is nice but now with this remaster and after hearing other versions of stuff it could probably stand to be improved.

I think I read that The Fragile got delayed but it is being worked on with the 5.1 and all... so probably next year for that.

First we should get The Fragile, like he promised, then we can talk about having that Strobe Light re-release.
