exercising gets boring? ha when i'm running (usually sprinting) there are too many things for me to worry about (running form, breathing, pacing, etc.). agreed about lifting though, i tend to listen to my music between sets and then turn it off for the actual reps



and yeah i think closed is the better choice too, esp. since i'm not audiophilic enough for the difference in fidelity to really bother me. still gotta decide on what, though

closed covers your ear completely so it tunes out the world better. open leaks some sound in but it's supposed to reduce resonance and thus have better fidelity



i think closed are more portable too.

Closed is the way to go if outside noise is an issue at all, otherwise go open because they do sound better
