Yeah I first heard Reinventing Your Exit when they released TOCS and they were my favourite band for awhile. Saw em live a bunch of times, had a couple tees etc. They were fuckin top notch in the 00's

LITSOS packs a lot of post- elements and its sound draws a fine line between predicating on hooks and just plain fuck-off heaviness. I think it's how the record unravels itself before the listener that I love the most. The rest of Underoath's back catalogue has always been more immediate in execution and reception imo.

Also, for the record, sound of separation is not my favourite Underoath, it's actually define the great line.

I also heard em first in TOCS. Will always love that album.

Favorite is DTGL. It changed the game for me. Probably most heard metalcore album in my entire life.

Actually heard em when my brother burned a CD for me and boy brushed red was song n°2. That must have been the year it came out.

Fuck, my brother used to have such good taste in music and listened to shit 24/7. Now he only listens to minimal electronic. Ugh.

I hope they have a fire in them to make a good album again, when they were doing those livestreams listening to all of their older albums they were always so hype about them

I'm not holding my breath.

I might be wrong but I think they associate their heavier sound with a time when they were using. And so it's like, now we are clean so we can't do heavy shit.

Let's hope I'm wrong, but it's totally the vibe I got with that awful last album.

Lost in the Sound is a fucking slapper. A lot of fantastic songs on there. I kinda shuffle between which ones my favorite depending on the day lol. Just feels like I go back to DTGL the most

DTGL has my favorite song of theirs, Moving for the Sake of Motion. My god, what a slapper that is

Not Johnny Truant but Johnny Booth is pretty cool.
