Also, not to be purposefully nitpicky but the review could benefit from more discussion of the music... This segment:
Crushing guitars, acoustic passages, powerfully harsh vocals mixed with immaculate cleans, pummeling double bass and so much more
Gives the vast majority of descriptive information about the music itself throughout the entire review.

Nice review. There's just something missing from this album that I can't put a finger on. It reminds me of the "black album" of doom bands. Just stripped down and kind of two-dimensional.
