Good review Kill. Don't much see why this band is amazing but whatever, I guess I ain't cool enough to appreciate the haphazardness of Cynic.

Focus is the greatest album ever recorded but lets be honest here this demo is pure garbage. theres a few memorable moments and solos but theyre negated by the fact that they took sean malone and the death growls/any semblance of intensity out of the formula and added some neo-hippy chick who has her moments but overall isnt anything spectacular plus this new-age bullshit atmosphere to the songs. aghora's s/t album is like a much more mature and better executed version of this demo.

Great review. A big step forward. I listened to this once and was totally bored.

i disagree, i too think focus is one of the best albums ever made and as you may know the remastered version comes with 3 songs off this demo, when i heard them i thought they were very interesting as i hadnt heard much like it before so i got the full demo and omg, i loved the tempo and just how calm the album was, its a great album to listen to just after listening to focus

no way..aghora s/t is good but the vocals work nowhere near as well as on this album, honestly the vocals on aghora kind of ruin the album at times

thanks all and dw wizard & crysis you'll get there one day haha
