I feel the same way when I just listened to Intronaut's latest CD. I haven't loved a CD so fast in quite awhile. I will need to listen to this CD too. Sounds like I am missing out.

This album is dirty. I've listened to it about 4 times already and I just got it today. This is only my 2nd Kylesa album, the other being static tensions, and this is incredible.

Man I feel like I missed the boat on this one. I love Static Tensions, but this album just isn't that exciting to me. Songs like "Don't Look Back" sound like Kylesa covering something off Hybrid Theory...or maybe I'm just another elitist Sputniker who hates anything that sounds mainstream = But as a whole, Spiral Shadow just doesn't have the oomph of their previous releases. It's not all bad by any means; I love Spiral Shadow and Tired Climb. Just seems very uneven overall.

But hey, at least I can plug it into the car stereo as a stepping stone to get people interested in Kylesa.

agreed with a lot of what you said pedro, especially about Don't Look Back -- god I hate that song.

there are some genuinely awesome moments on here, and for the most part this is an enjoyable record.

haha, absolutely vice versa for me.

And I agree with 36 and the man who sells me wallets, this is top 5 material for me, quite easily even.

I think Static Tensions and Time Will Fuse It's Worth are better, but that's just me.

and yeah 36, I do hate the shit out of that song lol

not just the chorus melody (which does bug the crap out of me) but also the main guitar riff -- sounds like something Creed would've released a decade ago.
