This is freaking awesome

Well looks like I need this, heard 4 songs already and its rhymes and beats are dark as hell. Graveyard just makes me want to bob my head with its pulsing synth line.
Shouldn't expect less considering how good Cunninlynguists are.

the hospital verse is crap, always feel like skipping it. There's alot to digest in this album such as the verses on Loneliness, La Petite Mort (Come Die With Me) and If You Cry even.

love that this is being so well-received here
on the QN5 forums, Kno said he tried to rap the hospital verse on IWIWD as if he just woke up from a coma... hence the awkward/choppy flow... personally it's one of my favourite verses on the album
bassline on Loneliness is just toooo infectious

Fuck yeah, Loneliness beat is wicked. I just really dont like the hospital verse esp. after the great mood Tonedeff created in the first verse. I see he was trying to do something a bit different but ergh...
After like 200 listens while writing the review, I had a break form this, but it's impossible not to keep coming back. Really have to stop listening for a bit so I don't wear it out

awesome album... definitely best hip hop album along with lucious left foot; has more standout tracks, but lucious left foot is more consistent i feel.
loneliness is such a crisp, cool, atmospheric and perfect song!

This better not suck ass. I mean it guise.

the beats trump the lyricism on this record. Kno's flow is awkward

This is a really good review.
If the album is as good, I'll check it out.

there is one out there somewhere.
Not sure if you guys are used to his flow. Following the CL since their Will Rap For Food album means I know all about what this guy can achieve with his rhymes. Might be a little hit or miss but you have to appreciate some of the great lines:
“Tell Mother Nature she can blow on the wind and choke on my kids” zing...dunno, prob cos I listen to alot of Freddie Gibbs, whose lyrics are not at all profound, but are delivered really well. In some respect, users that don't like Kno's rhymes should check out some CunninLynguists material. He produces the albums while Natti and Deacon the Villain (both guests on DiS) are emcees. But this album stands as the best produced among all CL material, and the rhymes are not that bad at all. What puts this above however, is the mood created across the length of the album and the way that you can take so much away from the music.
people will say that he should've had so-and-so rapper, and could've had better rhymes in these verses, but in the end, he created something real, and fuck it, I can't stop listening...

Have you heard Tyler, The Creator?
