bad as an album. "Country Feedback" is a GREAT track. "Losing my religion" is typical high popularity REM--almost good, spoiled by overly dramatic pseudo-themes and posturing.

Cannot agree with you at all on "Losing My Religion" (it's one of my favorites by them) but I suppose I do see where you're coming from. Agreed on "Country Feedback" being a highlight tho; "Near Wild Heaven" and "Texarkana" slay as well

Love it because of Stipe's performance in particular. Probably my second favorite on here behind Texarkana. Also Endgame is ridiculously overlooked.

Just got a numbing pace and that pedal steel is everywhere. Not my thing. Texarkana is indeed great, though Losing My Religion and Half A World Away definitely top it.

Country Feedback might be the best here imo. Always found this album a bit underwhelming when compared to their other stuff but there are some great songs here (Losing my Religion, Near Wild Heaven, Half A World Away).
