I love Final Destiny of the Gods, the second half sounds like something Agalloch would do

That one riff in the second half sounds like it could be from Agalloch, or Woods of Desolation. Hope their new album continues in the trend of Becoming or some similar style, though. I like it when this style of black metal is a bit more raw, so this album didn't really do it for me.

I always thought that album was too raw to the point where you could barely hear the music, whereas this gets the balance just right imo

From what I can see their early metalcore / melo dm influences are no longer present here. The Mysteries That Bind the Flesh is a nice jam
