from like the release of infirmary through the warped tour song fire down below they have tons and tons of songs in a major that just feel like rewrites of one another, and theyre all absolute killer tunes

I dont think a single one touches fatally yours or we’ve had enough

PLEASE TURN THAT FUCKIN' RADIO OFF

true...that's a definitive trio song they've remade like a dozen or more times

yea tho i feel the remake thing more with fatally yours. fall victim, fine without you, dead and broken, fire down below, back to hell, donner party, basically every matt song that key has been either a remake of that song, and while those all hit a trio sweet spot for me, none can touch it

Donner is my favorite of those. I seem to enjoy a lot Dan songs as far as Alkaline go, though both have penned tons of greats.

I mean but seriously this is a power chord band...only so much ground to tread.

This review had a 7 year gap between comments from 2010-2017 btw. That makes me feel horrible as a person.

yea band deserves much more love here

and yea i see that and dont fault them for it at all cos i love all those songs lol. I wil say crimson and agony do show them musically evolving to an extent. albeit they didn’t really get big enough to keep expanding that, and the die hards all hated those albums, so they were kinda forced back into being a power chord band to their detriment

yea i love the hell out of most of that record but it was really poorly received when it dropped among fans, and it massively undersold. shame cos tracks like i found away are absolute fucking tunes

can’t tell if trouble breathing or blue in the face is their best song but god damn both are absolute masterpieces

I know you'll hate me for this bubs but I think Trouble Breathing is actually a tad overrated in terms of their discography. It's great but not in contention for my favorite
