What area are you from?
It's grown off me quite a bit. I'd probably drop it to a 2.5 now.

After some careful consideration. I think this might be musically similar to Daggermouth. Fight me Mr. Westman.

I suppose. Have you ever listened to Man Overboard? Pop as fuck, but oh-so-catchy.
Oh yeah! I was looking at an old thread with bbqshrimp, you and I talking about shows and I couldn't remember what your name was.
I haven't. They've come up on my last.fm recommendations for awhile though. I'll check out their myspace when I get home from work and then probably buy their album.

Despite reminding this Buffalo Bills fan of a bittersweet period, Rochester's Such Gold deliver a promising debut EP in 'Stand Tall'. Playing a raw brand of music which falls in between pop-punk & melodic hardcore, the quintet are unquestionably passionate & enthusiastic about their up-tempo & energetic style. While rather literal, the relatable lyrics show potential, even if the vocals of front-man Ben Kotin don't quite fit the rather aggressive music. Thankfully, fan-friendly gang vocals are there to assist this 5 track 12 minute release, which could do with a few more memorable hooks. Recommended Tracks: Stand Tall & The Greatest Comeback of All Time.
