Following his sensational 2nd LP 'The Wild Hunt', The Tallest Man On Earth (aka Kristian Matsson) returns less than 5 months later with a 5 track, 17 minute EP titled 'Sometimes The Blues Is Just A Passing Bird'. A little inconsistent & not as cohesive as his past releases, the EP is saved by its fantastic opening 2 tracks - which probably should have just been added to 'The Wild Hunt'. ‘Little River’ could well be his catchiest song yet, while the best - and most noteworthy - cut here is the fantastic foray into electric guitar that is 'The Dreamer'. It alone, suggests there are still more twists & turns ahead for this unique artist.

Because you're blind (retorting joke about being deaf is expected and welcome).

He played a piano version of The Dreamer when I saw him a couple of months ago, was less raw, but still fantastic. Before he mentioned he was to be playing it, someone from the crowd yelled, "Play The Dreamer, man!", His response was, "Sure, I love that song."

Dude knows his talent.

I saw him on my lonesome in New York, was a seated 2000 capacity theatre, sold out twice. Didn't feel lonely at all. And im from Australia.
