top-notch review. you've made me want to check this out later today.

Fantastic EP. Hopefully though his next LP won't be as fully mellow as this, yet I like a lot of the new, clean sounds in here.

I think he's got one of the best voices out there, at least in the whole folk-esque scene.
|

It's certainly a brilliant voice. Even if casual listners don't get it. I've shown The Tallest Man On Earth to plenty of people and about 70% hated his singing. I don't know why, I think it's brilliant.

pumped to give this a listen

This guy is great musically, but there's something about his voice that just grates on me so much, argh. Any suggestions for getting used to it?

listen to him on a stormy/dark night while gazing out your window. It's pretty much the same appeal as Dylan's voice; the voice itself isn't great but it's the melodies and how it mixes with the music

yeah, and the dreamer. and yeah, the other three...

This is a really strong EP. The only qualm I really have is the generic melody of "The Dreamer".
|
| |
more like The Dreamer has the best melody
|

More like not.

More like I agree with DeafMetal.
