Holy crap this is amazing. Probably a 4.5... top ten albums of the year just got a little more complicated for me.

Thanks for pointing that out, qwe3. Must've gotten mixed up in my lone re-write, I think I originally said "whose talent shines through blablabla shitty bands"

Need to give this more listens. I really like Sayer of the Law and Lost at Sea right now...those seem to go by under-appreciated but they're two of my favorites.

I THINK my favorite is Megaloblastic Madness atm but the whole album is really good. I don't find that it drags at all, which surprises me a little.

The lyrics are weird as fuck though. Which like coke said is kinda a good thing.

Also I like this way more than The Always Open Mouth.

briggs actually started with guitar first and writes everything on his guitar before he goes to his bass guitar. this album is so damn weird and i wanna get into it and i dont have a hard time "trying" to relisten to it, which means there is hope for me liking it a lot. if that made sense. its just the vocals are so hard to deal with.

shoulda had steve wilson do guitar and had dan do his thing with bass. that would = awesome.

I don't think Man of Science has weird lyrics though. I think they just juxtapose science and religion and the fierce dependency with which each "side" leans on its beliefs.

Dan did write all the bass parts, so i don't think that if Dan were the bassist it would be any different.

I enjoyed the little bit of this that I heard, but the vox are pretty annoying.

Steve Wilson sucks. I'm glad he's not on this album. Then again, why would he have been? The fuck are you on about, AndManyMore?
